RUSI of the South Australia
Aim
The aim of the Royal United Services Institute of South Australia Incorporated is to encourage the discussion of national Security and Defence matters, and to improve public awareness and understanding of such matters.
Brief History
The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) of South Australia was founded in Adelaide in the early days of Federation, and was flourishing by 1904. The original aim centred on improving the education of Service Officers by promoting the study of strategic and defence matters. A defence oriented library was established, which today contains a very fine collection.
The RUSI of South Australia is a Constituent Body of the Royal United Services Institute of Australia.
RUSI of SA Publications
The RUSI SA publishes a newsletter every two months.
