RUSI of Western Australia

Aim

The aim of the Royal United Services Institute of Western Australia is to encourage the discussion of national Security and Defence matters, and to improve public awareness and understanding of such matters.

Brief History

The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) of Western Australia was founded in Perth in 1903. The original aim centred on improving the education of Service Officers by promoting the study of strategic and defence matters. A defence oriented library was established, which today contains a fine collection.

The RUSI of Western Australia is a Constituent Body of the Royal United Services Institute of Australia.

Publications

The RUSI WA publishes a newsletter ten times a year.
